Sexuality is one of the most profound connections we can experience as humans. Yet, sex can evoke our deepest wounds, insecurities and shame.
We live in a culture where we are bombarded with many distorted ideas and visuals about sex and how sex should be. With so much around, it is challenging to hear our own voice, to understand what we really want, to be clear about our boundaries and to be able to communicate with others.
This is why I am here.
My intention is to support and guide you to connect with your authentic sexuality, so that sex and intimacy can be a source of empowerment and deep meaning in your life.
Many of us carry residue of sexual wounds or traumas. Some wounds are more noticeable while others can be suppressed or rationalized. The betrayal of our trust and the breaking of our physical or emotional boundaries can leave wounds that evoke long-lasting feelings that affect the quality of our lives.
Sexual wounds can manifest in a sense of shame—a deep sense of brokenness or a feeling that something is fundamentally wrong with our sexuality and that we need fixing. Alternatively, a sense of numbness and frozenness can emerge—of losing connection with what we really feel and want. Some wounds manifest as fear of losing the relationship with our partner(s) if we speak up about our true needs and desire, while others feel confusion about their boundaries and what they really want, allowing their boundaries to get crossed.
There are many ways of acting as a result of our wounds and feelings. Self-sabotage, allowing abuse or being abusive, and addiction or losing interest in sex and intimacy altogether are only a few examples.
From my experience, whatever feelings and actions we take based on our wounds take a toll on our joy of sex and on our aliveness and creativity in general.
I believe that when we bring awareness and presence to our wounds and feelings and the ways we act on them, only then, we can start to bring healing to our lives.
A session with me will help you feel the deeper true self that never went away—your intact and whole erotic being. It will give your awareness a chance to come into your body. This is an invitation to connect with your authentic sexuality and embodied self—Your own erotic heartbeat.
“Yael is a phenomenal healer. I have had the privilege of working with her a number of times. She is very intuitive, caring, and nurturing. She always helped me find balance and taught me how to honor my own energy, leaving me feeling a deeper connection with my inner-self and core. Yael’s work has helped me heal past traumas and connect with a deep self-love. I would definitely recommend her work to anyone who needs healing.”
